ROSARY CRUSADE LAUNCH
The Rosary Crusade for the Intentions of the Philippines was launched on September 8, 2019 by the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity as the Mission’s humble initiative and contribution for the good and salvation of the country.
It was launched [primarily] due to the “alarming” increase in number of [mainland] Chinese nationals in the Philippines [in just the past couple of years], given the backdrop of [China’s] takeover of one of the country’s islands, among the many national problems and conditions that we endure. Beyond words is the loss of faith and moral compass in hearts and homes.
There was a specific prophecy quoted from the reported apparitions of Our Lady in Lipa, Batangas (Mediatrix of All Grace, 1948) warning about China’s ambition to conquer the whole world, and a warning was given for the Philippines. Learning from the many miraculous and divine interventions [historical] wrought by Our Lady through the Most Holy Rosary, especially that the Philippines is incapable of engaging in a military conflict, we thought to have recourse to the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Thus, a Rosary Crusade was launched seeking a divine remedy for so many ills.
INTENTIONS AND DURATION
The Philippine Mission is offering a “spiritual bouquet” to our Blessed Mother for one year, from September 8, 2019 up to September 8, 2020, asking for Her powerful intercession in behalf of the country. The following prayer contains the intentions of the crusade:
“We ask the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mediatrix of all graces, to protect and deliver the Philippines from the threat of Communist invasion, from all her other internal and external enemies, and from all the calamities that we merit because of our sins. We beg, through Her intercession, for the conversion and salvation of our country.”
INVITATION AND TALLYING
Everyone [Filipinos for that matter] can join, and in fact, is encouraged to be part of this initiative. It is a very little sacrifice considering the graces we are asking from Heaven.
All [Rosary] contributions should be reported through the Mission’s email or contact form. The monthly totals will be uploaded on this same web page.
One should mention, at the start of the Rosary, the intentions quoted in the above prayer (in case one cannot remember them, he can simply say: For the Intentions of the Rosary Crusade). Also, at the end of each decade, one should [preferably] add the following invocation:
“ Sweet Heart of Mary, be the salvation of our country. ”
Note: Only the Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary can be contributed (the whole five-decade Rosary as one count, with or without the Litany of Our Lady). The so-called “Luminous Mysteries” cannot be included because of its unfounded promulgation.
OFFERING
On September 8, 2020, the Mission will offer to the Queen of Heaven the merits of all the Rosaries offered in the past one year, as our most treasured “spiritual bouquet,” to honor Our Blessed Mother on the Feast of Her Nativity. This “Rosary Crusade for the Intentions of the Philippines” will then be formally closed with an Act of Consecration [of ourselves and our country] to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Thereafter, a new and permanent [perpetual] Rosary Crusade may be launched that will address the universal issues of our time, and that can be joined in by all the faithful all over the world. The proposed universal intentions are [minimum]:
For the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Glory of the Most Holy Trinity.
